Given : the cost a chair is ₹8800.

An amount of ₹200 is spent on the transportation

it is sold at a gain of 12%.

To Find : The selling price of the chair

Solution:

Chair cost  = ₹ 8800

transportation  cost = ₹ 200

Cost Price of Chair = 8800 + 200  =  ₹ 9000

Gain = 12%

Gain = (12/100) 9000  =  ₹  1080

Selling price = Cost Price + Gain

=> Selling Price = 9000 + 1080

=> Selling price =  ₹  10080

The selling price of the chair is ₹  10080
