Given :

Cost of the pen = 16 \frac{2}{3}

Cost of pencil = 4 \frac{1}{6}

To find :

Which costs more ?

By how much =?

Solution:

\implies 16 \frac{2}{3} can also be written as  \frac{50}{3}

\implies 4 \frac{1}{6} can also be written as  \frac{25}{6}

The cost of Pen \frac{50}{3} is more .

★Now,we have to find by how much it is more :

= \frac{50}{3} -  \frac{25}{6}

=\frac{100 - 25}{6}

=\frac{75}{6}

=\frac{ 25}{2}

It can also be written as : 12\frac{1}{2}
