The cost of the pen and pencil are given we have to find which cost more

so, here

16 \frac{3}{5} and4 \frac{3}{4}  \\

at first we take the LCM in improper fraction

 \frac{83}{5} and \frac{19}{4}  \\   \\ the \: lcm \: is \: 20 \: now \: we  \\ \frac{83}{5}  \times  \frac{1}{4} and \frac{19}{4}  \times  \frac{1}{5}  \\  \frac{83}{20}  -  \frac{19}{20}  \\  =  \frac{64}{20}

  • The pen cost more by 83/20
