i. 1¾ = 7/4
ii. 1¾ = 7/4 = 1.75
iii. Rs. 1 = 100p
rs. 29 = 29×100 = 22900p
iv. Cost of 1¾m cloth = Rs 29
cost of 1 m cloth = 29 × 7/4
= rs. 50.75
v. No. of pieces = 14
length of 1 piece = 14 ÷ 7/4
= 14×4/7
= 8m
Cost of 1m cloth = rs. 50.75
cost of 8m cloth = 50.75×8
= rs. 406
