Cost of tiffin =x
Cost of school bag=2x+80
Total cost =260
=>260=x+2x+80
=>260=3x+80
=>260-80=3x
=>180=3x
=>x=180/3
=>x=60

Answer :-

\huge{\underline{\boxed{\sf Rs. 200}}}

\bf\huge\underline{Solution:-}

Let the cost of Tiffin box be - Rs. 'x'

therefore, the cost of school bag - Rs. '(2x + 80)'

Total cost of school bag and Tiffin - Rs. 260

According to question,

\sf\rightarrow x + (2x + 80) = 260

\sf\rightarrow x + 2x + 80 = 260

\sf\rightarrow 3x + 80 = 260

\sf\rightarrow 3x = 260 - 80

\sf\rightarrow 3x = 180

\sf\rightarrow x = \dfrac{180}{3}

\sf\therefore\bold x = 60

Hence,

The cost of Tiffin box = Rs. 60

The cost of bag = Rs. (2 × 60 + 80)

= Rs. 200
