the cost of a table exceeds the cost of the chair by rs 150 . write a linear equation to represent this statement.

Answer- Let the cost of chair be represented as Rs. x and cost of table as Rs. y
According to the question-
Cost of table => (IN LINEAR EQUATION)
Rs.x + Rs.150= Rs.y

 Let the cost of table as Rs. y

then the equation is

y = x + 150
