The cost of a table is 3665.kanu has only Rs 100 notes.She rounds off the amount to the nearest 100.How much money will she give to the shopkeeper

Given,

Cost of the table is ₹3665

There are only ₹100 notes

For calculating the the amount that Kanu has to give the shopkeeper in order to putchase that table,we have to figure out the nearest number to the 3665 which is divisible by 100.

Now,the nearest divisible by 100 number is 3700 and this is also greater than the actual price.

(Shorter than 3665 is not acceptable because that will not fulfill the total price of the table.)

Hence,Kanu has to give ₹3700 rupees to the shopkeeper to pay the price and get ₹35 as the change value.
