Answer:

cost of table is 525 and cost of chair is 1575

Step-by-step explanation:

let price of both be 'x' then equation will be 3x + x = 2100

4x = 2100 ¤ x = 2100/4 = 525 that is the cost of table and 2100 - 525 = 1575 that is the cost of table

Answer:

let the cost of chair be x

cost of table :thrice of chair : 3x

cost of 4 chairs:x*4. : 4x

cost of 4 table :3x*4:12x

cost of 4 table +cost of 4 chair: total cost

12x+4x: 2100

16x:2100

x:2100/16

x:131.25

thus, the cost of a chair is 131.25 and the cost of a table is 131.25

Step-by-step explanation:

cost of the chair= x

cost of the table = 3x

total cost= 2100

actual cost of chair and table = x + 3x = 2100

= 4x = 2100

= x = 2100/4

= x = 525

cost of chair is Rs. 525

cost of table = 3x = 525 × 3 = Rs.1575
