Answer:

Given:-

  • Cost price of article = Rs.15,500
  • Cost of Repairs = Rs.500
  • It is sold for profit 12%

Find:-

  • Selling price of article??

Solution:-

Total cost of article = 15,500 + 500 = Rs.16,000

Profit = 12%

{ \sf{Profit(Rs) = \frac{12}{100}   \times 16000}}

{ \sf{Profit(Rs)  =  \frac{192000}{100} }}

{ \sf{Profit(Rs)  = 1920}}

So, profit = Rs.1920

Let's find the selling price of article:-

 \boxed{ \sf{Selling  \: Price = Cost Price + Profit}}

{ \to \sf{Selling Price  = 16000 + 1920}}

{ \to{ \sf{Selling Price =Rs.17,920}}}

Therefore,

  • The selling price of Article is Rs.17920
