Answer:

Rs. 19492.50

Step-by-step explanation:

Total C.P. = 16500 + 450 = Rs. 16950

Profit % = 15 %

Profit = 15/100 × 16950 = Rs. 2542.50

So, S.P. = 16950 + 2542.50 = Rs. 19492.50

\begin{gathered}\huge{\underline{\textsf{\textbf{~~~~~~Answer}}}} \\ \end{gathered}

GIVEN :-

Cost of an article = 16,500

overhead expenses = 450

Profit = 15%

Profit= S.P – C.P

Profit= \frac{profit}{C.P} \times 100</p><p>.</p><p>

Total CP = Cost price+ Overhead expenses(repairs)

Total CP = 16500 + 450 = ₹16950

Total CP=₹16950

Profit = CP x % profit

Profit = 15% of CP

• Profit= 15/100 × 16950

= ₹ 2542.5

Profit = ₹2542.5

• Selling price = Cost Price + Profit

SP= 16500+ 2542.5

SP= ₹19042.5

Hence,the selling price of the article = ₹19042.5
