Given - Cost and loss Percentage

Find - Selling price

Solution - The formula to be used for calculation is -

Selling price = (100-Loss%)/100*Cost price

Keep the values in formula to find the selling price.

Selling price = (100-10)/100*240

Performing subtraction

Selling price = 90*240/100

Cancelling zero as it is common in both numerator and denominator. Followed by performing multiplication.

Selling price = 216

Hence, the item is sold at Rupees 216.
