The cost of apples and oranges is the ratio of 6 : 9 per box. If a bow of oranges costs Rs. 90 what is the cost of a box of apples?

let the cost be 6x and 9x
9x=90
x=10
so cost of apples is 6x=6*10
60 rupees

let price of a box of apples be x
therefore,
6/9=x/90
x/10=6
x=60
