Given :  The cost of article A is 10% more than the cost of article B

Their total cost is rupees 441

To Find : the cost of article A and B

Solution:

Let say cost of article B = x  Rs

Then cost of article A = x  + (10/100)x   = 1.1x  Rs

Total cost = x + 1.1x  = 2.1x  Rs

Total Cost = 441 Rs

Equate the total cost

2.1x  = 441

=> x = 210

1.1x  = 1.1 * 210  = 231

Hence Cost of article A = 231  Rs

and Cost of article B = 210  Rs
