volume of room is equal to 40×2×0.45=36m^3 number of bricks used 14400/2=7200

volume of brick is equal to volume of room divided by number of bricks

so 36/7200=0.005m^3

The volume of each brick is 5000 cm^3

Step-by-step explanation:

Let x be the no. of bricks

Cost of 1 brick = Rs.2

Cost of x bricks = 2x

We are given that the cost of bricks required for 40m × 2 metre × 45 CM wall is Rs 14400

So,2x=14400\\x=\frac{14400}{2}\\x=7200

Length of wall = 40 m = 4000 cm

Breadth of wall 2 m = 200 cm

Height of wall = 45 cm

Volume of wall = Length \times Breadth \times Height = 4000 \times 200 \times 45=36000000 cm^3

Volume of wall = Volume of 7200 bricks

So, Volume of 1 brick = \frac{36000000}{7200}=5000 cm^3

Hence  the volume of each brick is 5000 cm^3
