Width of a carpet = 75cm =

(75 \times  \frac{1}{100})m \:  = 0.75m

Let, the length of the carpet be l

ATP

l \times 80 = 19200 \\  = ) \: l  =  \frac{19200}{80}  = 240

Area of the carpet = (L×B) = (240×0.75)m² = 180m²

Length of the room = 15m

Let, the width of the room be b

ATP

l \times b \:  = 180 \\  = ) \: 15 \times b = 180 \\  = ) \: 15b \:  = 180 \\  = ) \: b \:   =  \frac{180}{15}  = 12

Ans:- The width of the room is 12m.
