Given,

Cost of cultivating a rectangular field at 35rs per m²=71400rs

Breadth(Width)=40m

We know that cultivating a rectangular field = area of the rectangle

Cost of cultivating=area of rectangle×cost per m²

=>71400=l × 40 × 35

=>71400/(40×35) = l

=>7140/140= l

=>714/14 = l

=>l=21

Cost of fencing the field=perimeter of rectangle×cost per m

=>2(l+b) × 50

=>2(21+40)×50

=>2(41)(50)

=>100 × 41

=>4100rs

Therefore,the cost of fencing the field is equal to 4100rs

let the length be x
a/q =40*x=71400
=40x=71400
=x=71400/40=1875
Length=1875
Perimeter=2(l+b)
=2(40+1875)
2*1915=3790
Cost of fencing at ₹50 per meter =3790*50=₹187540
I hope this is correct
