Solution : According to given,

Let, total cost of cultivating the rectangular field be Rs 9450 and cost of cultivating one square metre land be Rs 6.75

Now, to find area of rectangular field.

→ Area of rectangular field = 9450/6.75

→ Area of rectangular field = 1400 m²

Hence, area of the rectangular field is 1400 m².

Now, to find breadth of the rectangular field we use formula of area of rectangle,

→ Area of rectangle = length * breadth

{ According to given length of rectangle is 40 m }

→ 1400 = 40 * breadth i.e.

→ breadth = 1400/40

→ breadth = 35 m

Answer : Hence, the breadth of the rectangular field is 35 m.
