The cost of diamond varies directly with square of

its weight. Diamond is broken into 3 parts whose

weight are in the ratio 3:4:5. If diamond had been

broken into three part whose weight are in the

ratio 9:5:2 then there would have been a further

profit of Rs152000.What is the actual cost of

original diamond?

let weight be 12x

then case 1

price=(3x)^2+(4x)^2+(5x)^2=50x^2

case 2

ratio=9:5:2

total=16so weight of parts

3/4*9=27x/4

3/4*5=15x/4

3/4*2=3x/2

price=(27x/4)^2+(15x/4)^2+(3x/2)^2=67.5x^2

17.5x^2=152000

x^2=152000/17.5

now cost of full diamond

(12x)^2=144x^2=1250742.86

mark as brainliest if I deserve it
