We know that Area = length * breadth    ---------- (1).

In order to find the area, we should calculate length and breadth first.

Given, cost of fencing = 300 then the length will at 75 paise per meter =

                                      = 300/0.75

                                      = 400m.

Now, we have calculated the perimeter of the rectangular garden i.e 400m.

 2(l+b) = 400m.

 l+b = 200m.   ------------ (2)

Given, The length of garden = 120m.

Subsitute l = 120 in equation(2), we get

b = 200 - 120

   = 80m.

Now, we have calculated length and breadth. Substitute those values in (1)

 Area = 120 * 80

          = 9600 sq.m.

Hope this helps!
