• Total cost of ploughing the field.

⇰Solution:-

• We have to find the circumference of the field

➯Circumference = Total cost per m

➯Circumference = 5280/24

Circumference = 220cm

⇰Let:-

• The radius of field be r cm.

⇰We know that,

➺Circumference = 2 π r

➺Area of circle = π r^2

⇒220 = 2 π r

⇒220 = 2 × 22/7 × r

⇒220 = 44/7 × r

⇒5 × 7 = r

⇒35 = r

⇰Now:-

• Radius of circular field is 35cm.

⇒Area = 22/7 × 35^2

⇒22 × 5 × 35

⇒3850cm^2

⇰Then,

• Cost of ploughing per m² = Rs.0.50

⇰Therefore,

➾Cost of ploughing 3850m²

⇒ 3850 × 0.50
