The cost of fencing a field @₹5 perimeter is ₹1920. If semi perimeter is 48cm find its area s all sides.

Total area of field =

 \frac{total \: cost \: of \: fencing}{rate \: of \: fencing}

 =  \frac{1920}{5 \:  }  =  {384 \: m}^{2}

Let the length and breadth be a and b

Semi perimeter of field = (a + b) = 48

 =  >  a  =  48  - b ..(1)

Area of field =

a \:  \times b

Using ( 1 )

(48 - b)b = 384 = b² - 48 b + 384 = 0

Solving we get,

b = 37.85 m and a = 10.15 m
