Area of the field is 384 m² and the length of side is 38.8m

Semi perimeter = 48 cm (Given)

Semi perimeter of a rectangle = l+b

48 = l + b

b = 48 - l

Area of field - Total cost / Per m cost

= 1920 / 5

= 384

Thus, area of the field is 384 m²

Area of rectangle = l × b

384 = l × (48-l)

384 = 48l - l²

= l² - 48l + 384 = 0

Thus, length = 38.8m

Since,

b = 48 - l

Therefore,

b = 48 - 38.8

Thus, breadth = 9.14 m
