Answer:

 \huge \bf \: given

  • Cost of fencing per metre = ₹20
  • Total cost = 2000
  • Length of park = 35 m

 \huge \bf \: to \:  find

Area of park

 \huge \bf \: solution

Firstly we will find how many meter does the rectangular park fenced.

So here we will find perimeter.

 \sf \: perimeter \:  =  \dfrac{total \: cost}{cost \: of \: fence \: per \: m}

 \sf perimeter \:  =  \dfrac{2000}{20}

 \sf perimeter \:  = 100 \: m

Now,

We will find breadth

Let breadth be x

As we are knowing that length is 35 m.

Therefore

 \sf \: 100 = 2(35 + x)

 \sf \: 100 = 70 + 2x

 \sf \: 100 - 70 = 2x

 \sf \: 30 = 2x

 \sf \: x = 30 \div 2

 \sf \: x = 15

Now,

Finding area

 \huge \bf \: a \:  = l \times b

 \sf \: a \:  = 35 \times 15

 \sf \: a \:  = 525 \: m

Therefore, area of rectangular park = 525 m.
