Cost of fencing per m= 125rs

Cost of fencing the whole field=Rs.8125

Area of field= 8125÷125=65m^2

Side of each field=65/4=16.25m

The length of each side of the field is 16.25 m

Step-by-step explanation:

Given data

  • Total length of square field = 4×Side

       Total cost of fencing of square field (C) = 8125 Rs.

       Rate of fencing of square field (R) = 125 Rs. per metre

  • So

       \mathbf{\textrm{Total length of fencing}(P)=\frac{Total \ Cost}{Rate}}

       \mathbf{\textrm{Total length of fencing}(P)=\frac{8125}{125}}

       Total length of fencing of square field (P) = 65 m

  • We also know that total length of square field = 4×Side

        Total length of fencing of square field (P) = 65 m

        4×Side = 65

  • On solving

        Side = 16.25 m = This is the length of each side of the square field.
