given that the cost of fencing the square field is ₹32000 at the rate of ₹16 per m.

therefore perimeter of the square field = 32000/16

= 2000m

we know that all sides of a square is equal.

therefore side × 4 = 2000

==> side = 2000/4

==> side = 500m

VERIFICATION:-

perimeter of the square field = side × 4

= 500 × 4

= 2000m

hence verified

thus the side of the square field is 500m.

now,

area of the square field = side²

= 500 × 500

= 250000m²

given the cost of ploughing the field per 100m² is ₹25

therefore cost of ploughing per 1m² = 25/100

= ₹0.25

hence, total cost of ploughing the field at the rate of ₹0.25 per m² = 250000 × 0.25

= ₹62500
