Then, total cost of fencing

= Rs (16×4a)

= Rs 64a

=> a = 32000/64

=> a = 500

So, each side of the square field = 500 m.

A filed is ploughed, meaning the area of the square field to be found.

Area of the square field

= a²

= 500² m²

= 250000 m²

The ploughing costs Rs 25 per mitre.

Then, the total cost of ploughing

= Rs 25×25000

= Rs 62500
