AnswEr -:

Perimeter of Rectangular room is 40 m.

Given ,

  • The total cost in which room is floored is Rs. 2592 .
  • The rate of flooring is Rs. 27 m².
  • The length of room is 12 m .

To Find ,

  • Perimeter of room .

Analysis -:

When the length is greater than the breadth so the shape is Rectangular.

So,

The room is in Rectangular shape .

Solution ,

▪︎ The area of room is \sf{\frac{The\: total \:cost\:in\:which\:room\:is\:floored.}{The\:rate\:of\:flooring\:at\:per\:m²}}

Here,

  • The total cost in which room is floored is Rs. 2592 .
  • The rate of flooring is Rs. 27 m².

》Area of room -: \sf{\frac{2592}{27\:m²}}

》Area of Rectangular room -: 96 m² ............. [ 1 ]

As , We know that ,

  • Area of Rectangle -:

\sf{\rightarrow {A= l \times b}}

Here,

  • Length of Rectangular room ( l ) -: 12 m
  • Breadth of Rectangular Room ( b ) -: ??
  • Are of Rectangular room ( A ) -: 96 m² .... [ From 1 ]

\sf{\rightarrow { 12 \times b= 96 m²}}

\sf{\rightarrow { b =  \frac{96}{12}}}

\sf{\rightarrow { b= 8 m }}

☆ Breadth of Rectangular room -: 8 m ....... [From 2 ]

As , We know that ,

  • Perimeter of Rectangle -:

\sf{\rightarrow {P = 2 \times(l+ b)}}

Here ,

  • Length of Rectangular room ( l ) -: 12 m
  • Breadth of Rectangular Room ( b ) -: 8 m ..... [ From 2]
  • Perimeter Rectangular room ( P ) -: ??

\sf{\rightarrow { 2(12 + 8 )}}

\sf{\rightarrow { 2 \times 20 }}

\sf{\rightarrow { P = 40 m }}

Hence ,

  • Perimeter of Rectangular room is 40 m .
