The cost of levelling the ground in the form of a triangle having side 51 m , 37 m and 20 m at the rate of Rs.3 per m square is Rs. 918 . Is this statement is true ?

Foremost, find semiperimeter=(51+37+20)÷2=54

Cost of levelling =rate × area of triangular land

=> cost = √[54×(54-51)(54-37)(54-20)] × 3

= √[54×(3)(17)(34)] × 3

= √[3 ×2×9 ×3 ×17×2×17] × 3

=3×2×3×17 × 3 = rs 918

Hence, cost of levelling =Rs 918
