Given:-

  • Cost of making boundary line =₹ 1500

  • Rate of making Boundary Per m² = ₹15

To Find:-

  • The Sides of Square field.

How To Solve:-

  • As we know that making boundary means covering the Perimeter .

  • So, First we will find the Perimeter of Field by Dividing ₹ 1500 by ₹ 15.

  • Then we will use the formulae of Perimeter of Square.

Formulae used:-

  • Perimeter of Square = 4 × Side.

Now,

→ Total Cost of barbed wire = Rate × Perimeter

→ 1500 = 15 × Perimeter

→ Perimeter of Square = 1500/15

→ Perimeter of Square = 100m²

Therefore,

→ Perimeter of Square = 4 × Side

→ 100 = 4 × Side

→ Side = 100/4

→ Side = 25m.

Hence, The Sides of Square is 25m.

Answer:

Question:

The cost of making a boundary line with barbed wire around a square field is ₹ 1500 at the rate of

₹ 15 per m. Find the side of the square field.

Given information:

Cost of making boundary with barbed wire

= ₹ 1500

Cost of making boundary per metre = ₹ 15

To find:

Side of the square filed.

Solution:

To find side of the square field first we need to find perimeter

Perimeter of square = 4 × a (where a means side of the square)

ATQ,

Perimeter of the square = Cost of making boundary with barbed voice ÷ Cost of making boundary per metre.

= 1500/15

= 100

Hence perimeter of the square = 100m

Now,

Perimeter of square = 4 × a or 4 × side

➝ 100 = 4 × a

➝ 100 = 4 × a

➝ a = 100/4

= 25

Therefore, length of the sides of the square field is 25m.
