EXPLANATION

Side of mr. marhur's square lawn = 25 m

We know that, area of square =

side × side

So, area of lawn = 25 × 25 = 625 m^2

(^ means square)

Area of square lawn = 625 m^ 2

Cost of grass removal =

rs. 2.50 per sq. m

Total cost of grass removal =

( 625 × 2.50) per sq m = rs.1562.5 sq m

AND

Length of mr. mehta's retangular lawn =

22 m

Breadth of rectangular lawn = 26 m

So, area of rectangular lawn =

(Length × Breadth)

= (22 × 26) m^2 = 572 sq m

So, area of mr. mehta's square lawn

= 572 sq m

Cost of grass removal = 2.50 per sq m

= (572 × 2.50)sq cm = rs. 1430 sq m

NOW ,

Cost of grass removal of mr. mathur square lawn = rs. 1562.5 sq m

Cost of grass removal of mr. mehta rectangular lawn = rs. 1430 sq m

So, 1562.5 is greater than 1430

Hence, mr. mathur has to pay more by

rs.( 1562.5 - 1430 ) sq m = rs. 132.5 sq m

Therefore, mr. mathur has to pay more than rs. 132.5
