so ,

Cost of 1 brick = 2400/1000 = 2.4 rupee

Then

we have to find cost of 4 thousand bricks so,

cost of four thousand bricks = 4000 × 2.4 = 9600

So the cost of the four thousand of bricks is 9600 rupees.
