let the length be 7x
breath be 3x
cost for painting1sqm = Rs 50
cost for painting the wall = Rs 4200
50*(area of the wall) = 4200
50(7x * 3x) = 4200
21x² = 84
x² = 4
x = 2
therefore the required length of the wall is 7*2 = 14m
