Given that

The length of the tank = 3m.

The Breadth of the tank = 2m.

The height of the tank = 1.5m

We know that Area of the surface = 2(bh + lh) + lb

                                                          = 2(2 * 1.5 + 3 * 1.5) + 3 * 2

                                                          = 2(3 + 4.5) + 6

                                                          = 2(7.5) + 6

                                                         = 21.

Total area of painting = 21m^2.

Given cost of painting = 20 per m^2

Total cost of painting = 20 * 21

                                    = 420.

Therefore the total cost of painting = 420 rupees.

Hope this helps!

Answer:

420

Step-by-step explanation:

Given that

The length of the tank = 3m.

The Breadth of the tank = 2m.

The height of the tank = 1.5m

We know that Area of the surface = 2(bh + Ih) + lb

+3*1.5) + 3*2

=2(2 * 1.5

4.5) + 6

= 2(3+

= 2(7.5) + 6

= 21.

Total area of painting = 21m^2.

Given cost of painting = 20 per m^2

Total cost of painting = 20 21

= 420.
