Rate of painting = 80 paise/ m sq.
=> Rate = 80/100 Rs. / m sq.
=> Rate = Rs. 4/5 / m sq.
Cost of painting = Rs. 176.40
And, Height of the board = 24.5 m.
Now,
Area of the board = Cost / Rate
=> Area = 176.40/4/5
=> Area = 176.40*5/4
=> Area = 44.10*5
=> Area = 220.5 m^2
Then,
Area of = 1/2 * b * h
=> 220.5 = 1/2 * 24.5 * b
=> b * 24.5 = 220.5 * 2
=> b = 441 / 24.5
=> b = 18 m.
