your \: answer

(Score = 20, Dozen = 12)

Price OF 20 pencils = ₹96
Price of 1 pencil = ₹ 96 ÷ 20 = ₹4.8

price of 12 pens = ₹144
Price of 1 pen = ₹144 ÷ 12 = ₹ 12

Price of Pencil : Price of Pen
₹4.8 : ₹12 = 4.8/12
(Dividing by 12 as 12 is HCF )=
 \frac{0.4}{1}

(When Multiplying By 10) 0.4/1 × 10 = 4/10
Simplified Form
 \frac{4}{10} = \frac{2}{5}
