Tᴏ Fɪɴᴅ :-

• find the cost of fencing the field at Rs 14 per metre ..........?

Fᴏʀᴍᴜʟᴀ ᴜsᴇᴅ :-

• Area of Square = (side)²
• Perimeter of Square = 4 * side .

Sᴏʟᴜᴛɪᴏɴ :-

→ Rate of ploughing = Rs.20/m².

→ Total cost = Rs.1,23,210

→ So, Total Area covered in ploughing = Area of Square = (123210)/20 = 6160.5m².

Now,

→ Area of Square = (side)² .

So,

→ (side)² = 6160.5

→ side ≈ 78.48m.

Therefore,

→ Perimeter of Square = 78.48 * 4 = 313.92 m.

Now, we know That, Fencing is done Around the Square .

So,

→ cost of fencing per metre = Rs14

→ Total cost of fencing around the Square = 14 * 313.92 ≈ Rs.4395 (Ans.)

Hence, Total cost of fencing is Rs.4395.
