the cost of ploughing a squarefarm is the same as the ploughing of another farm that os rectanguler in shape.The rate of plouighing is the same in boththe cases.The side of square is 20cm and length of the rectangle is 40cm.Find breadth of the farm.

the side of square- 20cm
area-s^2
=20*20
=400cm^2

area of square=area of the rectangle (since the rate and the cost is same)
s^2=l*b
400=40b
400/40=b
10=b

the breadth = 10cm
