Total Cost of putting the fence = Cost of putting the fence per metre x Perimeter of square field.

Solution :-

Let the perimeter of square field be p.

Then,

Total Cost of putting the fence = Cost of putting the fence per metre x Perimeter of square field.

=> ₹2000 = ₹25 per m × p.

$=> \frac{Rs. 2000 m}{Rs. 25} = p\\\\ => 80 m =p.$

$\star$ Perimeter of the square field = 80 m

=> 4 x side = 80 m

=> side = $\frac{80 m }{4}$

=> side = 20 m
