suppose that total no. of Books be
then rs of each book will be 60/x
a.t.q
60/x - 60/(x+5) = 1
60(x+5-x) = (x+5)x
300 = x2 +5x
x2 +5x - 300 =0
x2 + 20x -15x -300 =0
x(x + 20) - 15 (x+20) =0
x = -20 ,or x = 15
so total no of books 15 rs each book will be rs 4
and also total no of books in reduce rate 20 and price each book = rs3
