let cost of each book = x rs.

no. of books = 60/x

A.T.Q,

(x-11)(60/x +5)=60

(x-11)(60+5x)=60x

60x-660+5x^2-55x=60x

5x^2-55x-660=0

divide by 5

x^2-11x-132=0

Solving the equation u will get the rq. answer.
