\mathfrak{\large{\underline{\underline{Answer :-}}}}

The cost of Table is $ 500 and Chair is

$ 250.

\mathfrak{\large{\underline{\underline{Explanation :-}}}}

Given :

Cost of table = Twice the cost of chair

Cost of both together = $ 750

To find :

Their costs

Solution :

Consider the cost of chair as x

Table's Cost = 2x

Equation :

\boxed{\sf{x + 2x = 750}}

\sf{\implies} \: x + 2x = 750

\sf{\implies} \: 3x = 750

\sf{\implies} \: x =  \dfrac{750}{3}

\sf{\implies} \: x = 250

Chair = $ 250

Value of 2x

\sf{\implies} \: 250 \times 2

\sf{\implies} \: 500

Table = $ 500

\therefore The cost of Table is $ 500 and

Chair is $ 250.

\rule{300}{1}

\mathfrak{\large{\underline{\underline{Verification :-}}}}

\sf{\implies} \: 250 + (250 \times 2) = 750

\sf{\implies} \: 250 + 500 = 750

\sf{\implies} \: 750 = 750

\therefore The cost of Table is $ 500,

Chair is $ 250.

Answer :-

Cost of Table = $ 250

Cost of Chair = $ 500

Solution :-

Let the Cost of Table be x.

Cost of Chair = 2 × Cost of Table

= 2x

According To Question,

Table's Cost + Chair's Cost = $ 750

→ x + 2x = 750

→ 3x = 750

→ x = 750 / 3

→ x = 250

Therefore,

Cost of Table = $ 250

Cost of Chair = 250 × 2

= $ 500

Hope it Helps !!!!
