No. Of chocolates bought => (x+y)

Cost of one chocolate => (x+y)

Cost of all chocolates => (x+y)²

=> x² + 2xy + y²

Total amount= no. Of chocolate × cost of 1 chocolate

= (x+y)×(x+y)

=(x+y)²

(not sure about my answer)
