And child be y

x+y=5 is equation 1

And cost of adult ticket = 150

Cost of child ticket = 50

So 150x+50y=550 is equation 2

Equating both ...(1) and (2)

50×x+y=5

-150x+50y=550

-100x=-300

X=3

Substute x in equation 1

3+y=5

y=5-3

Y=2
