hii mate!!!
Tables be X
Chairs be Y
2X+3Y=$705
X=Y+40[table cost $40 more than the chair]
sub X in 2X+3Y=$705
2(Y+40)+3Y=$705
5Y+80=705
5Y=625
Y=625/5
Y=125
Tables $125+40=$165===2*165=$330
Chairs $125===$125*3=$375
Total $705
