Answer:

36

Step-by-step explanation:

let the quantity of variety 1 rice is 2x kg and the variety 2 rice is 3x kg according to their mixed ratio.

now the price of 2x kg rice of variety 1 is

= Rs.30×2x =Rs.60x

now the price of 3x kg rice of variety 2 is

= Rs.40×3x =Rs.120x

therefore, total rice purchased = 2x+ 3x =5x

total price of that rice= Rs60x + Rs120x =Rs 180x

therefore, the price per kg of the mixed rice

=Rs180x÷5x

=Rs36
