Answer: Total CP (cost price) = Cost + expenses (repairs in this case)

therefore, total CP= 15500+450=15950

Profit= CP× profit percentage.

given that profit is 15% of CP

Profit = (15/100)×15950 (note that= 15% is equal to 15/100)

=15×159.5

=rupees 2392.50

SP(selling price)= CP+Profit

Therefore, SP = 15950+2492.50= 18342.50

∴ Selling price = ₹18342.50
