Let the cost price of each article Re 1. Then,
C.P. of 15 articles = Rs 15
S.P. of 15 articles = Rs 12
Therefore, Loss = C.P. -- S.P. = Rs (15 - 12) = Rs 3.
Now, Loss % = (loss/C.P×100)%
=(3/15×100)%
Hence, Loss % = 20%
C.P. of 15 articles = Rs 15
S.P. of 15 articles = Rs 12
Therefore, Loss = C.P. -- S.P. = Rs (15 - 12) = Rs 3.
Now, Loss % = (loss/C.P×100)%
=(3/15×100)%
Hence, Loss % = 20%
