Let the CP of one candle be ₹1
CP of 12 candles = ₹12
SP of 15 candles = ₹12
SP of 1 candle = ₹12/15 = ₹4/5
CP > SP
Loss = CP - SP
= ₹ (1 - 4/5)
= ₹1/5
Loss% = Loss/CP × 100
= (1/5)/1 × 100
= 1/5 × 100
= 20%
