Answer:

C.P of 13 chairs = S.P of 18 chairs

⟹ 13 C.P = 18 S.P

s.p =  \frac{13c.p}{18}

⟹ \frac{s.p}{c.p}  =  \frac{13}{18}

⟹s.p =  < c.p

so, there will be loss

loss\% =  \frac{c.p - s.p}{c.p}  \times 100

⟹ 1 -  \frac{s.p}{c.p} \times 100

⟹1 -  \frac{13}{18}  \times 100

⟹ \frac{18 - 13}{18}  \times 100

⟹ \frac{5}{18}  \times 100

⟹27.78\%

the loss percent is 27.78%
