Then, C.P. of 12 articles =Rs.12x

Given, S.P of 15 articles = C.P. of 12 articles

So, S.P. of 15 articles= 12x

Since, S.P.<C.P., for 15 articles there is a Loss

So, Loss % = C.P.−S.P. / C.P. × 100

= 15x−12x / 15x × 100

= 3 / 15 × 100

= 20 %
